Meet the Author

Hello!  My name is Jennifer Jones, and I am an award winning author who lives in a small town in North Carolina. Alex Flies is my debut children’s book, and my newest book, My Daddy Reads in the Dark, will be released in October 1st, 2025. I love reading with my dog, Chilly, and I stay busy writing and recommending children's books. I  currently have several books in the publication process. When I am not writing, I enjoy reading, the outdoors, spending time with my family, friends, and two dogs, and playing board games and VR. Make sure to follow me for new book updates!  

Video depicts a children's interactive board book titled My Daddy Reads in the Dark.  The animation of the cover shows a blind father with a white cane walking with is young daughter. A quote appears that says "My daddy's eyes don't see, but he can still read to me." The book showcases love and acceptance of those with disabilities.
